Welcome to your Adventure Log!

A blog for your campaign

Every campaign gets an Adventure Log, a blog for your adventures!

While the wiki is great for organizing your campaign world, it’s not the best way to chronicle your adventures. For that purpose, you need a blog!

The Adventure Log will allow you to chronologically order the happenings of your campaign. It serves as the record of what has passed. After each gaming session, come to the Adventure Log and write up what happened. In time, it will grow into a great story!

Best of all, each Adventure Log post is also a wiki page! You can link back and forth with your wiki, characters, and so forth as you wish.

One final tip: Before you jump in and try to write up the entire history for your campaign, take a deep breath. Rather than spending days writing and getting exhausted, I would suggest writing a quick “Story So Far” with only a summary. Then, get back to gaming! Grow your Adventure Log over time, rather than all at once.

Because of the tone of this campaign, depending on your class/race your character will be placed under a certain faction.

This “faction” could change depending on region and character actions. Sometimes these factions matter, sometimes they don’t. It all depends on the individual character and situation.

These factions in some areas are at war with each other

There are other possible factions that I will reveal when needed.

Being labeled a faction does not mean you have to follow any ideal or cause of that faction.

Some classes are faction specific.

When you pick your class I will tell you what faction it falls under.

Here is an idea of the factions and “types” to help with character ideas.

Purebloods- Arcane, Runepriest
Humans- Martial, Monk
Highbloods- Divine, Rune Priest
Mutants- Psionics
Lowbloods- Primal, Runepriest
Undead- any class
Hell-spawn- any class, Blackguards are always Hell-Spawn.

Non Human Races usually end up in the Hell-spawn or Mutant faction.

Mutants, Undead, and Hell-Spawn (anything non human in appearance) are the most hated factions in Chaotica, and in many of the areas controlled by the other factions, they are kill on sight.

Welcome to your Adventure Log!

Fighter- Ranger- Rogue- Monk- Assassin- Warlord

Cleric- Paladin- Avenger- Invoker- Runepriest, Blackguard

Druid- Seeker- Warden- Barbarian- Shaman- Runepriest

Warlock- Wizard- Bard- Sorcerer- Runepriest

Ardent, Battlemind, Psion, Monk

Certain classes may automatically place you in a “faction”.

These are “fantasy” classes, but the powers associated with them can be explained any number of ways in the mechanics of this world. The “classes” are just a baseline. You can call yourself whatever you want. =)

Welcome to your Adventure Log!

I’m trying to leave out some of the details of the world so it is as mysterious as possible. To give a basic idea of the setting, I will attempt to give you some flavor without revealing to much.

Genres: Cyberpunk, Roadwarrior/Fallout, Fantasy. Combine that with the dark ages, post apocalyptic landscape.

Another reason I’m keeping some of the secrets of the world hush hush, is because the regions of the land are so vastly separated and isolated from each other. The world is a mystery, even to those who are surviving in it.

I’m still learning it, so let me know who wants to play around on it!
